How We Verify Rates & Rules
Numbers that change — tolls, tax rates, wages, and scoring rules — are checked against the government agency or operator that publishes them, never against blogs or other calculators. For each figure we record the effective date and keep a copy of the source document, and every worked example on the site is generated by the same code as the calculator, so the two cannot disagree.
We rely on primary sources, including:
